Product Case 01 · Customer Journey · Marketing Ops

Novini

An authenticated multi-company platform for customer journey events, campaigns, reports and integrations, designed to move a fragmented operation into a clearer product workflow.

Problem

Journey events, campaign data and communication history were distributed across spreadsheets, channels and external tools. That made it harder to understand what happened with each lead, which campaign drove an action and what needed follow-up.

Product Opportunity

Create a secure, client-separated operating area where teams could read the customer journey through event tracking, connect campaigns to behavior and generate reports from a more reliable source of truth.

Key Product Decisions

  • Model journey events such as opens, clicks, access, signups and consumption as product signals instead of isolated campaign artifacts.
  • Use role-based access and tenant context to keep each client/company separated inside the authenticated platform.
  • Connect Google Sheets, APIs, webhooks and n8n to reduce manual work while preserving an operational source already used by the team.
  • Design reports, filters and funnel-oriented views around operational questions: which users acted, which campaign created movement and where follow-up should happen.

Outcome

The product was delivered as an operational platform with authenticated areas, journey events, campaign workflows, reports and integration points. Public portfolio material intentionally omits sensitive client data and real business metrics.

What I Would Measure Next

  • Activation rate for teams completing the first campaign and report workflow.
  • Journey event completeness and funnel drop-off across key campaign actions.
  • Reduction in manual spreadsheet handling after integrations are active.
  • Time from campaign event to follow-up action.
